The Handicraft Trade Market in Sanremo in 2017 comes to the 49th edition.

Sanremo is a prestigious name that owes its fame to its great tradition in tourism, thanks also to its geographical location: it is situated in the heart of the beautiful Riviera dei Fiori, a few steps from the French Riviera, well connected to the large urban areas of Milan, Turin, Cuneo and Genoa and an holiday destination privileged by their citizens.

Craftsmanship’s Kingdom, which has always combines manual skills and creativity, tradition and innovation, different histories and cultures, the fair has become over the years a place of meeting, exchange and preservation of artistic craftsmanship.
The dates chosen, straddling the second half of August, responds to the logic of act as a pole of attraction for the tourists at the time of their maximum turnout.

The goal of this "new course" of the MOAC will be the quality, with the return to the historic location of the Palafiori in the heart of the city, and the "rehabilitation" of traditional handicrafts to the eyes of the general public and with an eye to the future.

The stands will create a path that will lead visitors to discover craftsmanship excellences starting from territorial realities leading to International handicraft, while the presence of producers and farms will involve the area of food craftsmen.

The exhibition spaces will then be divided into the following areas:

- Home furnishings and complements
- Clothing and fashion
- Cosmetics and perfumes for the person and for the home
- Food craftsmen
- International craftsmen
- Institutions
